This is the former website of the Institute of Maya Studies, which was based in Miami, Florida and regularly met at the Miami Museum of Science.

This site is, for various reasons, no longer associated with the Institute of Maya Studies, and now functions to perpetuate the work of Andrew Mossberg in relation to his involvement with the Institute, such as articles and links to other Maya Scholarly resources online.

Andrew Mossberg was a board member of The Institute of Maya Studies for a number of years, as well as founder and developer of their first true website, and editor of the newsletter (which for many years continued to have the look and feel he developed).
